Ottawa & Muskoka Wedding Photographer
My name is Danielle and I am a wedding photographer based out of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (though I am also in Muskoka as often as I can be).
I could go on and tell you about my photography background (I’ve shot for a variety of clients from corporate, to the NHL, to the government), but you already know I’m a photographer and that it’s my passion, that’s why you’re here! I’m going to tell you a little more about me so you get to know the gal you’re working with. If you want to hear more about my past photography lives - like how I embarrassed myself in front of MANY NHL players and staff at every single event I worked - ask me when you fill out my contact form, I love telling these stories.
Taking the photos you’re going to want to hang on your walls and print in albums
I am a firm believer in printing out your photos from not just the important moments, but all the moments. One of my favourite things to do is look through my parents and grandparents photo albums, and i think it’s so important to have a physical medium for memories so my future children & grandchildren can see what I was like on my important days and on the other days too.

Being on the lake
I’m a lover of sitting on the dock with a drink in my hand at my family cottage. My family has been on the lake for nearly 50 years, and we have such a big community up there. Being at the cottage is incredibly important to me as it allows me to stay connected with my extended family and life long friends.
Travelling
Travel is huge for me. Back in 2016, I left to travel Southeast Asia for 3 months. The following year, I drove around Iceland in a camper van. In 2019, I went to Cape Town and on Safari in Kruger Park. The photographer in me wants to capture the beauty of all these places, and sometimes I have to quiet her down so I can just sit and appreciate it all for a sec.
Keeping active
I’m incredibly active. I like to stay fit through sports, spin or weight lifting. Staying fit helps keep my mind clear and allows me to connect to others who enjoy the same things as me.
Good wine & coffee
I’m a sucker for a good cup of coffee and an even better glass of wine. I’ve started planning future trips around the idea of doing wine tours and bringing bottles back in my suitcase.
My little fluff
Five years ago, I said “I’d take a kitten” to a text I received and now I have the sweet baby angel that is Olive. She is a sweetheart sometimes, but she is also a nut.

Fun is mandatory. This experience I know can seem daunting, but i promise it can and will be fun. My ultimate goal is that you come out of the experience feeling like you just hung out with a really good friend.

I’m a firm believer in doing things your way. I think that’s where we get the photos that make you want to print them all out and put them on every wall in your home. tell me more about you and what you like to do, and I will do what i can to incorporate that into your photos

truth and honesty. listen, i’m not for everyone and I know that. this is why i think it’s important to have a discovery call and meeting pre-booking to make sure we’re a good match. if we’re not, I have so many talented friends in this industry that i would love to refer you to.
KIND WORDS
Danielle was an absolute DREAM to work with. From the moment I got in touch with her, everything was seamless and easy. Pat & I met Danielle in downtown Ottawa for our engagement shoot, we weren't sure what to expect from an engagement shoot as we didn't have much photoshoot experience before (which is probably the case for most haha). From the second we met her, she made us feel SO comfortable and was truly a hype woman the whole time!! We got comfortable quickly and had such a great time.
Fast forward to our wedding this summer, Danielle made sure to keep tabs with us months and weeks before to make sure she had everything she needed from us to ensure a seamless wedding day. And that it was.
Danielle did an absolutely AMAZING job with my husband and I's formals, with our family members and our wedding party. We got the shots we asked for and so many more. She captured every moment of the day SO well that every time we look at the photos, we're essentially reliving the day over and over!
We also got sneak peeks unbelievably fast (within 48 hours from your wedding day) and that was amazing.
We would recommend Danielle to all our friends and family, time and time again. It is so clear that Danielle is passionate and dedicated with her work and her clients. We would not have wanted anyone else to spend the day with , and to capture all of our emotion and love-filled moments.
